Located 8 metres from the canyon edge, the chalets at Fish River Lodge include a terrace, large windows and dry stone walls. They have a private bathroom with free toiletries. Beds can be placed outdoors for sleeping al fresco.
Overlooking the canyon, the restaurant serves home-cooked cuisine, which can also be eaten outside. There is also an indoor bar.
The surrounding Canyon National Park covers 45,000 hectares and offers hiking and birdwatching opportunities. Fish River Lodge can arrange guided walks, sunset drives or hikes along the base of the canyon,native animals can often be seen.
The lodge has its own airfield and can offer transfers on request.
